Black Men in Color

Black men in color is a series about making black men look positive, strong, and colorful. Showing them as strong black men without making them look hypermasculine like society tries to depict, as a way to negate how these men are viewed and sterotyped in the world. For this project i took portraits of black men told them to dress and act how they do in everyday life, I then digitally manipulated these images and added nicknames and bright backgrounds almost like superhero comics.
