    I am Shawn Hunter a photographer and graphic designer. I am currently based in the state of Tennessee, pursuing a dual degree: a BFA in photography and media art, and a BS in psychology, at The University of Tennessee Chattanooga. My photography is centered around blackness; the beauty enriched in my culture and negating the harmful stereotypes associated with my culture. My graphic work focuses on branding, and marketing I create art that engages with music, movies, and other facets on a participant level these graphics allows me to create work centered around blackness in another way and also work outside of this field. Creating a scope that reaches and connects with audiences that might not typically engage with my art.
