Black Masculinity

        This photo series is a documentary project that is centered around black men and their definitions of masculinity, I wanted to see how different Black men’s personal definitions of masculinity either challenged or upheld the societal definition of masculinity. I asked all of my models what was their defintion of masculinity and to wear what made them feel masculine and comfortable,and recorded their responses. I captured portrait-style photographs of these men. The original prints of these photographs were 60in x 44in.
